The drivers are now being dished out from North Carolina

Website/Forum are still in Utah, this will follow shortly

Anyone with a really fast connection could they please test the new facilites.

If they could report back with their findings, ie better or worse than before or even a speed compared to another site ie NVIDA as per below

Test file 344.24_win8x64 (LV2go in North Carolina)

Test file 344.24_win8x64 (NVIDIA US driver)

Our test file is smaller due to extra compression we use to host.

NVIDIA test file is 'US' version which is in reality smaller than the International version we host.

Will be good to see how we do, against the giants.

NVIDIA DRIVER 344.24 WITH DYNAMIC SUPER RESOLUTION

Wed, 08 Oct 2014 01:11:15 +0000

NVidia driver 344.24 is out at NVidia downloads. This driver has the option to enable DSR (Dynamic Super Resolution) in NVidia Control Panel.

At the moment it is a notebook-only driver, and it is for the 900-series mobile GPUs. It is WHQL for those cards. However, with the use of a modified inf file it can be installed for use with GeForce desktop cards, once you boot up Windows in Disable Driver Signature Enforcement mode. Even on Windows 10 Preview. It is likely that very soon a desktop version of the driver will be available at NVidia downloads.

NVIDIA INSPECTOR - NEW VERSION 1.9.7.3

Tue, 07 Oct 2014 01:19:53 +0000

A new version of NVidia Inspector is out. When you open the Inspector version you already have, there'll be a little link at the bottom of the menu which will let you click it to get the new version. There are some new settings in the menu, and some settings have been moved to a different part of the menu.

Windows 10 Preview

Sat, 04 Oct 2014 03:12:11 +0000

Windows 10 Preview is available at Microsoft.com as a free download. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/preview

It's easy to sign up, become an "Insider", and keep up on all of the later versions released prior to the final Windows 10. It has the Windows Start button and menu that you're used to from the past, and also combines it with a little apps menu like Windows 8 has. It's a nice blend. Games such as Call of Duty Ghosts perform just as well on Windows 10 Preview as they do on Windows 8.1. Windows 10, by default, sets up desktop computers with NVidia driver 340.52 if you have a GeForce card, but you'll be able to install driver 344.11 on top of that pretty easy, and dxdiag will report that the driver is WHQL on Windows 10.

LV2go is on the move

Thu, 02 Oct 2014 22:02:50 +0000

We're about to move to a new server, Salt Lake City UT was good, but we're off to North Carolina.

Very simply put the current server is costing us far too much.

Negotiations with current host have come to naught

So new server, new company, new horizons it is.

We're actually going to be better off for our databases (forum and drivers)

Here are specs on the new rig:

Processor: Dual Intel Quad Core L5520 2.26 GHz (8C16T)
RAM: 36 GB DDR3
First Hard Drive: 1 TB SATA
Second Hard Drive: 1TB SATA
Network Uplink: 1000 Mbps
Bandwidth: 10 TB

We're being hosted by Big Brain Global Networks

Brian sorted out a good deal for us

So we hope to setup the new server in next few days

Then shift all the drivers across

Finally setup the forums and driver database and go live

May take a couple of weeks

So if we go offline for a short periods it will be due to the above

DNS propagation may mean the longest outage for some,as some countries can take up to 2 days to change.

Looking forward to something different.

Oh Oh, NVIDIA have dropped support for us oldies

Fri, 19 Sep 2014 17:17:20 +0000

Hmmm, just trying to install r343 drivers using my 8400GS GPU I have in my server

All I am greeted with is a BSOD due nvlddmkm.sys exception error

Whats a good way to help sales, stop supporting GPU

Strange thing is, NVIDIA still support the OS that they were designed for  but not the GPUs? (ie WinXP), but Windows no longer support the OS but support the older GPU's

Nothing a modded INF can do to fix this issue.

A heap of folk are going to left in the cold me thinks

For the older generation the 340's are the last of the line for us :(

At least MS put out 340.52

Wonder how we'll fare with Windows 9 ?

There is a big long list a couple of posts down of the GPU's no longer supported.

ALl GPU's are supported in the modded INFs

Let us know if you have success with a GPU thats on the list but works

I'm,sure others would love to know.
